Dental x-rays are pictures of the teeth, bones, and soft tissues around them to help find problems with the teeth, mouth, and jaw. X-ray pictures can show cavities, hidden dental structures (such as wisdom teeth), and bone loss that cannot be seen during a visual examination.

Significant advantages of digital dental x-rays include instantly viewable images and the ability to enhance images, which makes comparing teeth before and after treatment significantly easier. The digital files also make it easy for us to store your patient records, and serve as a more accurate recording of your treatment history.
